Change Africa – Refund & Exchange Policy
At Change Africa, we want every attendee to have a meaningful and rewarding experience—whether you’re joining one of our events, enrolling in a course, or purchasing branded materials. If something doesn’t go as expected, this policy outlines how we handle refunds and exchanges with fairness and transparency.
Our Commitment
We believe in value-driven programming. If you’re not satisfied with your experience due to a legitimate concern, we’ll do our best to resolve it, through refunds, exchanges, or other resolutions.
Cancellation Within 24 Hours
You may cancel your registration or order within 24 hours of purchase and before an event begins or an item is shipped/collected.
You will receive a full refund, minus any applicable bank charges or platform fees.
Event Ticket or Course Cancellation – Participant Initiated

Defective Tickets or Merchandise
A ticket or merchandise issue must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Email: info@changeafrica.org with:
- Order number & description of the issue
- Photos (if applicable)
- Proof of purchase
If approved:
- We’ll process your claimed refund within 5 business days.
- A replacement item will be issued free of charge, subject to availability.
- If damage/error is considered due to mishandling by the customer, a refund or replacement may be denied and/or charged accordingly.
Digital Courses & Content
You may cancel a digital course purchase within 14 calendar days, provided you have not accessed or downloaded any proprietary material.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds and approved exchanges are typically processed within 15 calendar days of receipt of all required documentation and materials.
How to Request a Refund or Exchange
Please send all refund or exchange requests to info@changeafrica.org with:
- Your full name
- Programme or item name
- Date of payment or order
- Order number or transaction ID
- Reason for the request (with supporting evidence, if applicable)
Need Support?
If you believe your circumstances merit an exception to this policy, you may submit a written request for consideration. While refunds and exchanges are granted strictly according to the terms above, exceptional cases will be reviewed on a discretionary basis.
